Dolomites

The site of the Dolomites comprises a mountain range in the north-eastern Italian Alps, numbering 18 peaks which rise to above 3,000 metres and cover 141,903 ha. It features some of the most beautiful mountain landscapes anywhere, with vertical walls, sheer cliffs and a high density of narrow, deep and long valleys (https://whc.unesco.org/en/list/1237). Easily reachable from the following airports: Venice/Treviso, Verona, Innsbruck and Munich.

The Dolomites, Summer and Winter, can offer stunning views, top-climbing routes, but also family oriented activities.

Our partner and host is the Hotel Dolomiti run by the Fam. Masarotto (http://www.hoteldolomiti.com/gallery/). Our basecamp is there, in San Vito di Cadore, few km from Cortina, with stunning view to the Mount Pelmo and Mount Sorapìss. Cortina is a world known mountain town, famous for enjoyable nightlife and luxurious restaurants.

We deeply invite you to pay a visit to our partner, Cantina De Bacco, right outside the lovely historical town of Feltre in the southern part of the mountain range. Here you can taste the amazing wines and experience the history of the wine-making from the Fam. De Bacco (http://www.debacco.it/).
