Zillertal and Königsleiten village

Königsleiten is an Austrian alpine village in Pinzgau on the border of Tyrol and Salzburg, near Krimml.
The village lies on the Königsleiten, a mountain with a summit of 2315 meters high. The village itself
is located at about 1600 meters altitude. The village also has a number of ski lifts.

This ski area is better known as the Zillertal Arena. In 1965 there were no people in this place strictly speaking, only in the summer few people lived there.
When the number of tourists increased a few years later, the number of inhabitants increased. to date, 61 inhabitants.

Königsleiten is easily reachable from the following airports: Innsbruck, Bolzano and Munich.
For summer and winter activities we work together with our good friend Richard Novak.
He was a formal pro Ski-bob world cup racer and was always competing for the podium spots.
Now he runs a bike and ski rental shop in the village and makes sure we can stay in his comfortable apartments.
